1. Who we are
This website is run by Sripto Corporation Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Information, not an offer
2.1 The website describes MyRecords and our services. It does not create a contract. A contract is formed only when you and we sign a quote or order.
2.2 Where a page labels a feature as “available once connected” or “partial”, the label is part of the description. Features listed as not yet available are not promised by being mentioned.
2.3 This website does not publish our prices. We give you a written quote for your business, which states its currency and excludes GST and other taxes unless it says otherwise. A quote can change until you sign the order; a change does not affect an order already signed.
3. Free tools, guides and templates
3.1 Our calculators, guides, glossary and templates explain Indian tax and payroll rules in general terms. Each shows the sources it relies on and the date it was last checked.
3.2 They are not professional advice for your business. Rules change, and your facts may differ. Before you file a return, pay tax or make a decision, check with a qualified chartered accountant or lawyer.
3.3 You may use the templates inside your own business. You may not sell them.
4. The live demo
4.1 The live demo is a separate site with a made-up company and sample data. It may be reset, changed or taken offline at any time.
4.2 Do not enter real personal data or real business data into the demo, and do not try to break or overload it.
5. Using our content
5.1 The text, design, graphics and logos on this website belong to us or are used with permission. “MyRecords” is the name we use for our product.
5.2 You may quote short parts of our pages, including the fact sheet, if you name MyRecords as the source and link to the page. You may not copy whole pages, or present our content as your own.
5.3 Some software on this website and in MyRecords is open-source software made by others. It stays under its own licence; see open-source licences. Nothing in these terms limits the rights those licences give you.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- try to get into parts of the site or its systems that are not public, or interfere with how they work;
- send spam, malware or false information through our forms;
- use the site in a way that breaks the law or harms anyone.
Search engines and AI assistants may read and index the site as allowed by our robots.txt file.
7. Links to other websites
We link to government portals, sources and other websites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
8. Your information
How we handle what you tell us through this website is explained in the privacy notice and the cookie notice.
9. No warranty for the website
We work to keep this website accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”. We do not promise it will always be available, error-free or up to date. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.
10. Limits on our liability
10.1 To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using, or not being able to use, this website or the free tools, guides and templates on it, including loss of profit, data or business.
10.2 Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
10.3 Your rights and our duties for MyRecords itself are set out in your order and the AMC terms, not in these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the bottom of this page shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute about this website will be dealt with by the courts that have jurisdiction over our registered office.
