A till that keeps billing offline.

Counter billing, outlet stock and the books in one system, even when the network drops.

  • Unlimited users
  • Pay only for the modules you use
  • Core ready in 1–2 weeks
  • Customised to your requirements
Point of sale: the open register with its bills and cash in the drawer, a scan or search box, items with price and stock, and the cart with Hold and Pay.
The checkout: scan or pick items, then Pay. Sample company.

In short

For a shop or a small chain, MyRecords puts a point of sale till on any counter computer or tablet: scan barcodes, take cash and card (and UPI in India) in one bill, print a 58 or 80 mm receipt or send it on WhatsApp, and close the register against counted cash. If the network drops, bills queue and send when it returns. When the register closes, the shift's bills post to the outlet's stock and the books, so the owner sees all outlets in one place.

Before and after

What gets easier.

The same jobs, done once, on one set of books.

  • Today: When the internet goes, the queue at the counter goes out of the door.

With MyRecords: The till keeps billing offline and sends the queued bills when the connection is back.

  • Today: The cash in the drawer never matches the system at closing.

With MyRecords: Close the register with the counted cash per payment mode, counted by notes and coins if you like; MyRecords shows expected against counted and the difference.

  • Today: A customer pays part by UPI and part in cash, and the sale gets billed twice.

With MyRecords: Several payment modes in one bill, with change worked out and quick-cash buttons.

  • Today: Total sales are known, but not which outlet is running short of what.

With MyRecords: Each till bills from its outlet's warehouse, so stock and reorder levels are per outlet.

6 steps

A day with MyRecords.

One record moves through every step, so nobody types it twice. Read the steps, or watch the same work run on sample data.

  1. Open the register

The cashier picks the till setup and enters the opening cash for each payment mode. The till knows its outlet, price list and stock.

    Point of sale
  2. Bill at the counter

Scan a barcode, search, or tap picture tiles; type a customer's list ("2 kg sugar, 1 kg dal") to bill from it. GST and rounding are worked out live.

  3. Take payment

Cash, card and UPI in one bill. The UPI QR carries the exact amount from your own UPI ID. Print a 58 or 80 mm receipt, or open the bill in WhatsApp to send it; no business account needed.

  4. Hold, return, reprint

Hold a bill while a customer fetches one more thing, resume it, open today's bills to reprint one, or take a return.

  5. Close the day

Close the register against counted cash. The shift's bills post to the books, and any difference is reported.

    Accounting
  6. Restock the outlets

Reorder shows what fell to its level at each outlet. Transfer from the main warehouse or raise a purchase order.

8 modules

The modules to switch on.

Most businesses like this start here. Every module shares one set of books, one login and one list of customers and items.

Honest fit

When it is not the right fit.

We would rather say so now than after you have paid.

Compare the options fairly
  • If you sell online through Shopify, Amazon or your own web store and need orders and stock synced automatically, those connectors are not built yet.
  • If you want one app on the owner's phone for billing and nothing else, a low-cost billing app will cost you less.
  • If your till must work offline for days at a time, note that the offline queue is meant for network drops; queued bills reach the books only when the till reconnects.

Ask us anything about modules, a quote or moving across. A person from our team replies.

Ask a question
01Does the point of sale work offline?

Yes. When the connection drops, bills are queued on the till and sent when it returns. Point of sale, the shop floor, attendance check-in, maintenance visits, asset physical checks and bill photos for "Read a bill" are the parts of MyRecords that work offline.

02Which printers and scanners work?

Receipts print in 58 mm and 80 mm thermal formats, and the till takes barcode scanner input. Printers, scanners and tills are your own purchase.

03Can customers pay by UPI?

Yes. Add your UPI ID and every bill shows a QR with the exact amount; the customer pays from any UPI app. At the till, Razorpay's QR with automatic matching works once you connect your Razorpay account.

04How many outlets can I run?

A small setup includes 1 point of sale outlet (medium 3, large 6), each with up to 2 tills; more outlets can be added to your quote. Hardware is not included.

05What does the retail industry pack add?

A Loyalty Points Earned field on each POS invoice, an approval step for new items (New SKU Approval), and Retail Floor shortcuts. It adds no reports or access packs. Deactivating the pack hides what it adds; nothing you entered is deleted.

06Can cashiers change prices?

Only if their till setup allows it. A till can also ask a sales or accounts manager to approve a discount or a lower rate with a PIN, and the bill records who approved it and why.

07Do I pay per cashier?

No. Users are unlimited. You pay for the modules you switch on, never per person. Get a quote.
