Who writes this site
The MyRecords team. We use AI tools to help draft and check pages. Nothing goes up without being checked against the product and its sources, and we are responsible for every word.
Product claims
- Each feature is checked against the current release of MyRecords. The release a page describes is shown in its “Last updated” line where it matters.
- We label what we describe:
- Live: works today.
- Available once connected: built, and works once you connect your own account with a provider (for example a GST Suvidha Provider, WhatsApp Business or a payment gateway).
- Partial: we say exactly which part works.
- Features we do not have are not hinted at. They are listed on the roadmap or in a “not yet” box on the page.
- We use careful words on purpose. MyRecords “prepares GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B files for upload”; it does not “file your returns”. It “works in any phone browser”; it is not a native mobile app.
Numbers
- We do not publish our own prices; every system is quoted for the business. Competitors’ prices are quoted from their own pages, with the date we read them.
- Performance and recovery figures come only from tests we ran and recorded, with the date. Example: the 79.5-second restore drill of 22 Oct 2026.
- We do not quote market statistics we cannot source.
Tax, GST and payroll content
- Rules are taken from primary sources: cbic-gst.gov.in, gst.gov.in, einvoice1.gst.gov.in, ewaybillgst.gov.in, incometax.gov.in, epfindia.gov.in, esic.gov.in, rbi.org.in and the Gazette of India.
- Each guide and free tool shows the date its facts were last verified and lists its sources.
- Until a named chartered accountant has reviewed a page, it says “Expert review pending”. We will add the reviewer’s name when that happens.
- These pages explain the rules. They are not tax or legal advice for your business. Check your own case with your CA.
Comparisons with other software
- We name the other product’s real strengths and say when you should choose it.
- Every comparison is dated and sourced, and we do not copy the other company’s text.
- If a vendor tells us something is out of date, we check it and correct the page.
Customers and examples
- We publish a customer story only when it is real and the customer has signed it off.
- No testimonials, logos, ratings, awards or customer counts until they exist.
- Examples use made-up businesses, such as Kaveri Agencies in Mysuru or Shree Lakshmi Hardware in Bengaluru. Any resemblance to a real firm is by chance.
Money and influence
We do not accept payment for coverage on this site and we do not use affiliate links.
Corrections
If you find a mistake, tell us through the contact page. We fix factual errors, change the page’s “Last updated” date, and note any correction that changes a fact you might have relied on.

Journalists, analysts and AI assistants are welcome to quote this site. The fact sheet is written to be quoted. Please link to the page you quote.
